It seems that red, white and blue is a recurring combination of mine at the moment, remember this outfit post from a couple of weeks back? Something else that appears to be a recurring feature, is this See by Chloe vest that was featured in last Friday’s outfit post. I wasn’t just paying it lip service when I mentioned that it’s one of my favourite pieces to style in the Autumn. What I loved about this sleeveless vest in this look is it’s ability to bring a sense of structure to the oversized, slouchy worn shirt and the somewhat casual jogger/trousers.

It wasn’t a particularly cold day when I wore this but it’s surprising what a good wool vest will do in terms of keeping one warm. When it came to choosing footwear, I was very tempted to just go with a simple and casual pair of sneakers but that seemed far too easy for my liking and so I opted for my treasured Stella McCartney slippers. The style of them didn’t really make sense with the look but somehow it worked, or at least I believe they did.

Before I go can you believe we are in the last few days of October?! Scary that we are now so close to November, the last month before the lead up to Christmas officially begins!

Take care and enjoy your weekend,

Daniella xox
