No, I haven’t decided to become an American and celebrate the 4th of July in October, just incase anyone was wondering. Red, blue and white worn together has such a cool appeal to me and obviously it does have a kind of an americana vibe and that’s a style I have always been fond of. Other then the colour combo, I also love the style contradictions of the two  brands that have been featured in this look. A Polo Ralph Lauren v-neck knit worn with Vans sneakers has a weird synchronicity, even though the two aren’t exactly a match made in heaven when considering the individual messages that are usually conveyed behind each brand. But what does it matter when it works this well and to be honest I like the contrast and isn’t personal style all about mixing it up.

I would also like to highlight the bag i’m using in todays post, it’s an oldie, I think I’ve had it for over ten years and though I don’t ever really use the bag, i’ve never been able to get rid of it and I guess thats a good thing. I chose this bag because I was wanting something a little different to the usual bags I wear and so I tried this bowling bag style and I liked its retro vibes and so I went with it!

Take care,
