Today I wanted to talk about perceptions. Recently I have learned something, that no matter how good your intensions may be, no matter how much you devote your time and energy to the people you care about and no matter how much you know that within your heart of hearts that everything you do and say comes from a good place, a place of love that if they themselves are not happy inside with who they are or where they are in life then they will likely perceive all of that love and goodness in a way that is negative.
It’s sad and frustrating but all I can say is that if you find yourself in a similar place with someone just remember that you can’t make someone love themselves enough to be able to perceive things in the loving way that they were intended. As long as you know you did all you could then that’s what counts.
Today’s look includes last year’s Hawaiian inspired shirt worn over a super cropped crop top, which I balanced out with some equally super high waisted trousers to bring balance. Everything else I kept to a minimal because it was hot that day and so I just wanted to keep things simple and light.
I hope you like the look,
