I hope everyone enjoyed their bank holiday weekend, Conan (the bf) took an extra day off and so we were able to spend Saturday through to Tuesday together, which I have a lot of gratitude for. We were also lucky enough to have good weather the last two days and thats always a bonus.

On Monday I had pink Gingham look to share with you and today I have blue stripes! It seems that so far i’m having a week of print and there is nothing wrong with that, I do love me some print. This Thierry Colson striped dress is a piece that I have had for a while now (can’t remember exactly when I bought it) and every summer I like to bring it out because its just so perfect for the warm temps. Though this time I wanted to do something different with the dress and so I pulled the sleeves down to create an off the shoulder look and then I tied an old striped shirt around my waist. I didn’t want this to have a grungy effect and I don’t believe it did, I simply wanted it look more refreshed and modern, I also added a splash of more colour with the tie up shoes. I am wondering whether these shoes would indeed look good worn with socks once it starts to cool down for the Autumn, what do you think? I will have to try it and get back to you.

I hope you like the look.

Take care,

Daniella xox
