I found another outfit in my photo folder that feature these cropped flares that are now no more (read here). Here they are styled with a printed mini skirt that I don’t think I have ever really shared with you on the blog before. But my mum bought me this printed piece last year before we took our holiday to Miami. I loved it then and because I have never really shared my outfit photos from Miami, you’ve never gotten to see me wear it. Anyway I pulled this skirt back out to show off it’s awesomeness. It was from Topshop and I just love it for not only it’s striking print and colouring but the button detailing it has also. Whilst it has a great retro 60’s vibe, I chose to bypass this when styling the skirt this time around and to instead take a minimalist/maximalist approach. I layered the skirt over the cropped white flares which I teamed with a fitted white top for a continuation effect and to keep the look somewhat elongated. I broke it up with my classic navy blazer, which complimented the colour pallet, in my eyes, beautifully. I went with my Newbark slides to really emphasise the minimal tones of the outfit.
This summer I really want to find the find to sort LELLAVICTORIA.COM out! I have never been 100% cool on the way it looks and works. So this summer, I will try and make some time so that I can feel more positive about this blog layout. Is there anything you think I should take note of before starting this project? I am also thinking about moving back to wordpress.com but this is undecided as of yet.
Take care and have an awesome week.
