There is no doubt about it, this is one of my favourite combinations from the spring. Its pretty obvious how this came to be when you consider I am wearing my All Saints printed bomber jacket, a piece I feel very lucky to own. I am also wearing layers of neutrals pinks, which as we all know like a lot of other style lovelies, this is one of favourite colour tones this season! Finished off with two of my most recurring items since early spring, my Selected Femme ankle boots and my good old Chanel round framed sunglasses. So taking all of that into consideration it really is no surprise to why I am so fond of this look.
Even though I do not follow style rules, I do try and bare in mind that wearing or styling pink can go terribly wrong, though hypocritically I must say you can never look “wrong” if you are wearing something you want to wear and feel confident in as that is what personal style is all about! But for me, I want to look one of two ways when I am styling pink into a look and thats either feminine & edgy or feminine and chic. The reason I say feminine in both is because to me, pink is a very feminine colour. Now, if you did want rock this seasons colour and you want your look to appear “on point” my advice would be to be selective with what shade of pink you choose. It’s all about the dustier/neutral/rosy shades of pink. But ultimately you gotta do you and as long as you have confidence in what you wear, you can pretty much rock anything!
Take care and have an awesome week my lovelies,
