I am glad to be sharing these photos with you, as I am wearing a dress that I had been waiting ages to wear before taking these photos. I bought this dress by Ganni months ago now and a couple of weeks back, believe it or not it was actually warm enough to wear here in the UK. When I first seen the dress, I instantly fell in love with the beautiful print. The Black and white softened by the touches of brown makes this dress very easy on the eyes in my opinion and I find the shape somewhat reminiscent of the 1920s. I dont know if you see this in the dress too but I do and I love LOVE the silhouettes of the ever so chic 1920s era. So needless to say I was sold rather quickly on this piece.
For styling it I kept it really simple with my Newbark slides, which are still my favourite summer shoes. I added some heavy metal to contrast the femininity of my hairstyle and my round sunglasses because well, our rekindled love affair is still going strong. So yeah, super simple today but that’s the way i’m liking it recently.
I hope the energy starts to become lighter this week, it was a little heavy here at the end of last week due the referendum but the decision has been made now, so lets keep calm and carry on. 😉 Plus this week is the lead up to my birthday which is on Friday or should I say “Friyay” because in this instance it applies! Oh and before I go, our internet is back, it got sorted on Friday, yay!
I hope you like todays look. Let me know what you think of the dress.
