When I was approached by Aran Sweaters direct to see if we could collaborate, it didn’t take long for me to reply with a BIG yes! You all know I am selective with whom I collaborate with and Aran Sweaters direct was most certainly in my style remit. Not only did I agree to this because 1. I love knitwear all year round and 2.I especially love Aran knits but 3. these knits are designed and made in Ireland! I love this, its shows authenticity and holds a high standard of quality. Also the bf is quarter Irish and so I took it has a good omen.
When selecting an item from their website, I had narrowed my choice down to this zip up style that i’m wearing here in todays post and this turtleneck style Here but I settled on the zip up because it’s easier to wear and style this time of year but it will also very easily transfer into the autumn and winter too. I personally love this shop (obviously!! Otherwise I wouldn’t have collaborated with them) and I love the selection they have to choose from. I find it’s not too overwhelming with countless styles but instead just the right amount to fulfil your aran sweater needs. It will undoubtedly be the online shop I visit when i’m in need of some good chunky, cosy knits.
The style story behind the look is simple, classic denim worn with a little vintage camisole for the hot summer days and then the addition of the beautifully crafted Aran knit for the cooler summer evenings. I shot this look at Dunster beach and it is quite certainly the place to be if quiet strolls in the evening is what you’re after. It’s a beach that feels quintessentially British, the only thing that was missing was the seaside classic, fish and chips.
Please do check out AranSweaters.com because if fine crafted knitwear thats blessed with Irish luck is what you’re after then you will not be disappointed.
Take care and I really hope you enjoy todays photos. We worked hard on them.
