If It Isn’t Broke, Don’t fix it!

If It Isn't Broke, Don't fix it! If It Isn't Broke, Don't fix it! If It Isn't Broke, Don't fix it! DSC_1140

Yes, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it! Today I’m sharing a look that includes the second scarf that is part of my collaboration with Style by Portobello. The reason I mention the well known quote is because this outfit has some of the same style ingredients that I used last time I styled one of their cute vintage scarves.  I originally tried wearing the scarf around my neck but something just wasn’t connecting with the rest of the look and then when I thought to once again tie the striped scarf around one of my favourite tote bags, it felt right. It did bother me though, that I had done this with the last look but then I thought if it works well then why bother stressing over it. It also dawned on me that in reality a lot of woman keep the same bag on them sometime for weeks, months or even years before swapping them to a new or different one and so actually it’s nice to see that more then just one scarf works well with the same bag. The scarf itself is also a very different style and colour pallet to the last one that I featured and so thats what made the difference.

I’m also wearing this cool sweater that I picked up in Topshop. I got it for about £20.00 and I love the subtle sporty tone it has with the simple v shaped lines. I teamed this with my favourite jeans of the moment and my classic navy blazer and loafers (probably my most worn items of last spring/summer) for a smart/casual look.

Take care,

Daniella xox
