I don’t know if you can tell but these photos were taken on rather windy day! Yes, it can be annoying but I actually like the reality and motion it creates in the photos.
In todays look, I have reconnected to some old favourites of mine. I have found myself wanting to wear these felt Marni sandals a lot recently. I know their colour and texture is probably more fall then spring but I don’t like to be restricted by colours or textures. I think that their texture actually works in my favour for this time of year as they are surprisingly warm for sandals and even though I am wearing them with socks here, I have also been wearing them without socks. And because they are warm to wear, it’s not such a shock to the system. I always find it quite a slow process going from winter footwear to spring/summer footwear. Plus there is always the stress of the chipped nail polish on my toes! Because lets face it, during the colder months, its just so much easier to put socks over that chipped mess! You with me?!
I am also back in this cropped leather jacket of mine which I have been wearing on and off for the last year and half. I have had this jacket since I was about seventeen years old! So yeah this jacket has been in my wardrobe going on almost ten years now. I think it was the come back of the seventies that bought the piece back into question. It gave me the inspiration that I needed to bring it back to life. Though it has unfortunately managed to get a tear in it but adds character I guess.
Hope you like the look.
Take care,
Daniella xox

I think it’s great to find and wear old favourites. Love these photos Daniella, and the jacket is very nice. I am always a fan of those brilliant Marni sandals as well (& I am with you on stressing about the chipped nail varnish, that’s never a good thing, haha). Take care and have a lovely week dear. x/Madison
