Did the temperature drop where you live this past weekend? It got really rather chilly here in Taunton (somerset) damn spring, such a trickster it is. This past weekend we went to the cinema to watch the new Jungle Book film! I loved it, I thought it was visually very stunning and my nephew enjoyed it too! His eyes were glued to the screen.

Being close to nature is important to me and i’m lucky to live in a place where it is only a small distance away. To me it seems only right that it works itself into my style. This was such an idyllic setting to take photos and the light was almost perfect. This Bruuns Bazaar skirt which I bought back in their sale finally gets an outing! I had been waiting for the weather to warm up to wear it, its made of silk and so it’s a very light piece. So even though it warmed up, I still needed to layer it over trousers to get away with wearing it. I chose my slouchy Acne Studios trousers and a beige knit for a modern minimalist effect and my two tone sneakers for a casual undertone.

Also I must mention this bomber jacket that I bought from Topshop a couple of months back. They had three colours to choose from in store and as you can see, I chose the navy colour way. They also had it in khaki green and black. Both equally tempting but still, I am happy with my choice of the navy. I love how it’s urban appeal looks against the feminine draping material of the skirt.

Wishing you a wonderful and a creative week,

Daniella xox
