I always think when we are leaving one season and preparing for another, the topic of weather get’s spoken about a lot. We are ready for the sun to shine warmly on our skin and for the cold winds to subside. In the last few weeks it’s been very up and down. Some days the sun shining brightly, evoking feelings of Spring and other days, colder then it was in December. We were fighting for the light when we shot this look and so I apologise if the photos aren’t of the best quality but I loved wearing this outfit and so I shared them anyway.

At the moment I’m trying really hard to work my thoughts. I can often spend too much time imagining scenario’s that haven’t happened with the fear that they will. I’m a natural worrier and sometimes it can overwhelm me. I don’t think this is in anyway shape or form a good or positive use of mental visualisation and especially as I am big believer in visualising what you want. So when I start to have negative thoughts, I try and re-focus my thoughts on to things that make me happy. Like holidays, clothes, styling outfits in my head (something i’ve always found to be a positive and creative distraction), playing with our dogs and my nephews happy smiles. Even just imagining what my future home will look like, designing it in my head is a positive visualisation for me. It may all sound a bit daydreamer like, but whats so wrong with that?! Its like visual affirmations, putting out there what brings me peace and I believe that can only be a good thing.

Take care lovelies,
