Hi everyone, how was your weekend?

Yesterday was Mothers Day and I felt so blessed to be able to spend it with my Mum. I often think of those who may have lost their mum or worse, those who have never had the chance to meet their mum. This always reminds me to be extra grateful for having my mum around. We didn’t go out anywhere as my mum is still very unwell but we cooked up some yummy food and I picked up a pudding from Marks & Spencer. In case you were wondering, we had the salted caramel cheesecake. If you live in the UK get yourself down to your local M&s and try it! Immediately! Its Good!

I’ve heard we are in for a cold Easter here in the UK, so the layers don’t look like they will be going anywhere anytime soon! For the first time in a long time I wore my suede, fringed jacket. This is a piece I wore rather a lot last Spring/Summer. It felt good to wear it again, something a bit different to my usual choice of outwear, which is often along the lines of faux fur. I had to layer it up of course, as the weather just isn’t there yet but nothing my Acne scarf couldn’t fix! I’m also sporting these relatively new Levi’s jeans of mine which I pre ordered back in August/September (I cant remember exactly) and it was only in January that I received an email saying that they were on the way to me. See I had come to the conclusion that the Urban Outfitters system had some how messed up on my order and that it wasn’t going to happen and so I had forgotten all about the Levi’s. So it was a nice and unexpected suprise when I did indeed read that they were about to be mine. I tried them on and even though they were a little bigger/looser in fit then I had hoped, I kept them anyway because I still like how they looked. Though one thing needed to change and that was the length. So I decided to cut them myself and let them fray over time naturally.

Have you got you perfect vintage Levi’s jeans yet?

Have a great week,

Daniella xox

  1. This is some awesome layering, there’s so much fun in this outfit. I love the concept of wearing your leather jackets with knee-length blouses or cardis.
I’m still hunting for a perfect pair of Levi’s, got myself a vintage pair which I also cropped but I’m not 100% satisfied with the fit.
