All the way to Christmas and I made a promise to my nephew that I would take him the natural history museum to see the dinosaurs and that we would do this on the first weekend in February. In the end we decided to do this on last weekend in January instead. So we all (we all being my sister, Conan, Roman and I) drove down to London for the day. The entrance queue was massive which I can tell you is not M.E friendly but it did move at relatively quick rate so that wasn’t so bad. Whenever I had been before, it was always on a week day and we could just walk straight in. So ignorantly I hadn’t contemplated there being a long line. The dinosaur section also turned out to be closed during the time we went, which was very annoying because that’s what my nephew really wanted to see that day.

It still turned out to be a good day and my nephew got to see a bit of London, which I was happy about. After the natural history museum we were all a bit tired and hungry and so we headed straight to Harrods and indulged in some yummy food from Laduree. My nephew loves Macaroons or as he likes to them Macaroonies! And so it made perfect sense to go there.

For a day in London I kept my outfit simple and most importantly comfortable! But these two qualities in an outfit does not have to go hand in hand with boring. So I chose my embroidery jeans to give this outfit a little pick me up, creating a focal point within the simple structure of this look.

I hope you have a good weekend.

Take care,
