I love taking walks on the Quantock Hills (located in Somerset) and having Koko is giving us even more of reason to get out there and take in the extremely fresh air. If we are out walking for too long, it can have an effect on my energy levels but at the same time I find it also gives back mentally. There is so much space up there, I find it really clears my mind, refreshes my thoughts and in general just lifts my mood.

That day I didn’t want to wear traditional dog walking gear, you know like, sensible clothes! No, it seemed I wanted to go with a sheer maxi dress instead. Definitely far from sensible! But that’s okay and it’s good to remember that life can be short and sometimes if you want to wear something impractical for the sake of happiness, then you should. I wore the dress with an oversized cardigan, my shearling coat (because this coat is almost as good as walking around with a portable radiator attached to my chest) my dome hat and Cat boots! The boots did get dirty that day and reminds that I really need to get myself some wellington boots. So yeah, here is the alternative dog walking outfit! 😉

Take care,
