I really wanted to put together a look that’s soul focus was knitwear. Knitwear combinations have been one of this winter’s key trends, though mainly in the form in co-ordinating sets. I decided I would like to do my own take on this trend, with some of my favourite knitted pieces that I own. I focused on proportions and in regards to the colour pallet, I went with a mixture of neutral colours. This choice of colours kept the look fluid but also highlighted the individuality of each item worn. Leather leggings gave even more depth to the existing texture play but in a way that was subtle to the eye, as so not to distract from the texture I really wanted to bring focus to.
This time, location was rather quite paramount to me, I didn’t want it to be any random street or backdrop and so I chose the Quantock Hills, one of my favourite places to be. The natural surroundings, so beautiful, tough and raw, it just felt right for this look. To say i’m pleased with the shoot would be an understatement. Conan did an amazing job, i’m just annoyed that the theme of this Blog doesn’t do the photos the justice they deserve. Maybe 2016 will be the year I get a professional to help give Lellavictoria.com a little facelift?! Know anyone?
Anyway I hope you all have a great week and that you like todays post!
Take care,
