Ah, it’s nice to be here putting a nice big photo post together this morning. I love taking photos and over the Christmas period I have been taking lots of them! These were taken back on Christmas Eve, back before the home became a total mess and was instead looking rather pretty. Because there are so many of us under one roof, it’s hard to get on top of all the mess thats created on Christmas day. Anyway, Christmas Eve was lovely, in the morning Conan and I went to pick up our Christmas turkey from a local farm shop. We hadn’t bought one from there before but it was worth it because it tasted beautiful. Then we spent the afternoon relaxing with the joy of each others company. Come the evening, we had some family over and then went on to have a roast pork dinner (something we always do on christmas eve) and then give out all our cards to one another. I love that we still get to do the tradition of leaving out a drink and snack for Father Christmas, thanks to having two beautiful nephews. Who are the main reasons, why Christmas continues to feel so special and reminiscent of childhood fun.
My Christmas Eve outfit is always a little more creative compared to my Christmas day look, which tends to be a little more polished (you’ll see that soon). This year I wore my vintage dressing gown over my some skinny jeans. Layered with a sequin jacket and a faux fur coat, topped off with my gold platform shoes.
I hope you like it.
Have a great Monday,
