Right in the middle of the autumn it was impossible not to be inspired by all the stunning colours that surrounded me. The orange turtleneck is one that I’ve had for years and whilst it can obviously be worn outside of the autumn season, I can’t deny that it reflected the colours of the time perfectly. I had hoped to wear these kick flare jeans into the winter with ankle boots for a hint of that 70s chic but I don’t think I will be able to. They fall just a little too high above the ankle, which means they fall short of the boots I wanted to style them with. A bit gutting but like Gloria Gaynor once same said, ” I will survive” ;);) So I guess i’ll have to find another pair similar. On Topshop they do have the same style in a darker wash and so I am thinking maybe in a longer length, they might just work better?!
I’m finding a little difficult to keep up New blogposts at the moment, as most of my time is being taken up with the new puppy! They really are like babies, they need a lot of attention and monitoring but the cuteness makes it all a lot easier. I’m also working on getting all the Christmas decorations up. I’ve told you we are Christmas crazy here, yeah only about a hundred times already plus with the rooms being quite big, it can take a good few days to get it all up. But hopefully after this weekend, all should be completed! Yay!
Take care and have a lovely Friday and a wonderful weekend,
