The cable knit is one of those knits that I believe can be worn any times of the year and not look even a little bit out of place. In the spring and Autumn it makes a lighter alternative to heavier coats. In the summer, it makes for the perfect choice to drape over ones shoulders come the evening and during the winter, who doesn’t want get snuggle themselves into one of these glorious knits and imagine themselves in log cabin, in from of a fire and sipping at hot cup of cocoa?!

A cable knit with jeans is obviously the go-to combo but I also like how it looks here paired minimally with a simple tank top and wide leg trousers in this white/cream colour pallet.

I think it shows off the knit with simplistic ease. I am currently on the search for a new cable knit jumper for the Autumn/Winter months ahead. I do already own a coupleΒ but there are mens Just got to find the right one now!

Do you like cable knits?

Take care,

Daniella xox

  1. Totally agree that the cable knit is a wardrobe staple. I love your Jack Wills cardi version because it’s so chunky & has the traditional looking buttons. You’re so right about their versitlity too! I love mine belted at the waist & also worn with a light floaty dress as contrast to cosy it up. Your braids are stunning by the way Daniella xxx
