I didn’t really want to continue with posting outfits on Sundays but my outfit pictures seem to of built up a little bit. So I thought i’d make a little exception this week. I have worn this striped linen shirt that I bought from The M&S mens department back before the summer started (if it ever really started) and it’s one of those pieces that’s easy to combine and comfortable to wear. The lady who was working on the till at the time of buying the shirt, thought I was buying it for my boyfriend, maybe I should have corrected her but I thought it easier and probably more polite (what?! I’m British, I cant help it! Polite is in our blood) if I just went along with it.

Now on to the outfit. If you’ve ever wanted to mix prints but don’t want it to overwhelm, then a great way to do that is by taking a thin printed scarf and wear it in the form as belt. That’s what I did here, though mine isn’t a scarf, it’s actually the belt from this Vintage paisley print dressing gown. Team with a classic print, such as stripes and there you have it. It’s a great, non-fussy way to subtly clash prints.

Anyway I don’t want to keep you too long, it is Sunday after all. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day and for you Brits out there, enjoy your bank holiday weekend!

  1. Daniella this look is SO dreamy yet SO chic and simple… The robe-belt-as-a-jeans-belt is a genius idea – I so want to try that, just need to find a paisley robe now, haha! Your photos are always stunning but that last one is a special favourite: The soft expression on your face, the perfect outfit, the pose… Beautifully captured 🙂

Hope you’re well my lovely and had a lovely bank holiday weekend!
