Feeling Like a Jedi In Isabel Marant & Topshop

Finally I can share a look with my Isabel Marant skirt. I love that feeling, when I’ve visualised wearing something for so long and then it becomes my reality! This Isabel Marant skirt is one of those pieces. I have mentioned in a previous post that I received this beautiful wrap from my mum for my birthday. She also gave me this top, which is from Zara. I don’t know if you can tell by looking at the photos but both pieces are made with interesting textures, something I always admire in clothing designs. When combining virtually the same coloured pieces together, different textures can play an important role in how the look will turn out.

It seems that skirts and this leather pouch are making the rounds in my outfit posts this week! Did you see my Mini Skirt outfit post that appeared on the blog earlier this week? To be honest I could of probably put the contents of the pouch into the pockets of my skirt seeing as they’re twice the size but who wants to be that practical?! Plus since I first laid eyes on this skirt it reminded me of something that only the likes of a Jedi-knight would wear and then plus with the utility-like belt it just leaves me feeling like all I need is my light sabre! Yes, for your information I do indeed happen to own one, you’re looking at a BIG star wars fan here! So it’s probably needless of me to clarify that the Isabel Marant skirt reminding me of something a Jedi would wear is far from a bad thing.

Take care,

Daniella xox

  1. I’m seriously holding my breath everytime I’m browsing through your new photos, you look like you were born to be a style blogger/model!
That skirt is amazing and I love how combined with the top it almost looks like a wrap kimono dress from afar ❤
